Dallas — Pre-Dawn Service BeginsOctober 2016
The Dallas Morning News reported on its blog October 10 that the downtown to Oak Cliff-Bishop Arts District streetcar will begin pre-dawn service October 24, with the first car departing Union Station at 5:30 a.m. At present, the first service starts after the morning commuter rush at 9:30 a.m.
The Dallas Streetcar charges no fare. It is owned by the city of Dallas but operated by Dallas Area Rapid Transit. The agency made advamced the start of service in response to passenger requests for earlier service covering the morning commute. |
