Mayor Charles Hales has proposed extending the city's new Eastside trolley extension to the north, according to the Portland Business Journal. The proposed new route would serve the Portland Community College's Cascade campus via Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard.
The mayor, a strong advocate of the streetcar system since its inception, feels this corridor would be one where the city could "make something happen."
