Cincinnati — Fare Free Saturday Test

The cincinnati.com site reports that new interim city streetcar head Travis Jeric is experimenting with fare-free Saturdays to gauge the impact on ridership. The test was inspired by the success of Kansas City's very comparable streetcar which charges no fares and carries about six times as many riders as Cincinnati's.
