A portion of Woodward Avenue in Detroit will close July 27 to allow M-1 Rail to begin construction of its modern streetcar line from downtown to midtown, the Detroit Free Press reports.
Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, M-1 Rail Chairman Roger Penske, and M-1 Rail President and CEO Matt Cullen will meet on the morning of the 27th at M-1 Rail offices to review the start of construction for the 3.3-mile M-1 Rail project.
