The Fort Worth City Council approved in Spring 2002 a $165 million
project to build a 7.6 mile starter system. Voter approval at the time was anticipated to be as early as
2004. Nothiing came of that proposal but the subject was again brought up for consideration in mid 2008, when the routes in the below map were proposed along with sources of funding.
