Kansas City — Warning to Scooters

As part of a safety campaign, the Kansas City Streetcar Authority has issued a warning to the growing number of scooter users to be especially careful when riding around streetcar tracks. The flangeway can easily trap a scooter's wheels resulting in a nasty fall, the same fate that can face bike riders whose wheels are also subject to being caught.
