The River Rail streetcar line now has sponsors for two of its nine stations, each generating $100,000 over 10 years.  The name of the Peabody Little Rock Hotel will appear on the Markham Street stop opposite the Statehouse Convention Center while Alltel Arena and Alltel Corp. will share the arena stop at Broadway and Main Street in North Little Rock. Central Arkansas Transit Authority Executive Director Keith Jones said the revenue will be used to help cover operating costs or for capital expenditures including the possible purchase of a fourth replica Birney streetcar from Gomaco.  Tampa set the pace for replica heritage trolley line sponsorships, selling naming rights for the entire system to the Tampa Electric Co. for $1 million, individual trolleys for $250,000 and stations for $100,000.
