Oklahoma City, OK — Ridership Rebound

The Journal Record reports that streetcar ridership in March and April 2019 was closer to that recorded in the opening month. Ridership was bouyed in the opening month of January when no fares were charged. Now fares have been imposed discouraging some riders though improving weather may have attracted more riders in the recent period.

Interestingly, it was reported elsewhere that Saturdays are the heaviest day of the week for streetcar ridership.
