An active group in San Diego is advancing plans to bring historic streetcars
to the city's North Park district. The district's Main Street group is planning
the system to achieve economic development benefits, to enhance transportation,
to serve as a tourist attraction, and to preserve local heritage. A feasibility
study has been completed to support the project.
