The San Pedro heritage trolley linie ran for the last time on September 27, 2015. The Port of Los Angeles is under pressure to reinstate the line once highway work is completed, but claims this would cost $39 million, making it prohibitive. The future of the line and the three replica Pacific Electric cars is uncertain.
