Washington, DC — Streetcar Barn Renderings

November 2012

One key component missing from the partially complete streetcar line on H Street and Benning Road in DC's Northeast district is the storage and mainentance facility for the line. Now the www.washingtoncitypaper.com site has published architects renderings of the carbarn on the site favored by the city. These were presented to the Historic Preservation Review Board.

The carbarn would be placed in a currently unused, grassed parcel between Benning Road and Spingham High School.
