Greater Greater Washington reported that plans for a streetcar extension from Union Station to Georgetown are not being advanced now. Though the extenson from the eastern end of the current line to the Benning Road metro station are still moving forward, planning for the K Street corridor to Georgetown is now focusing on buses in dedicated lanes.
